We had a great stay and enjoyed exploring downtown on foot. The vehicle didn’t move from the time we arrived until we left. The space had everything we needed and more, very pleased!

Staying at Poppy & Rye was an absolute delight! Dana truly thought of every detail - from the cozy touches to the perfectly stocked kitchen, everything felt intentional and welcoming. The house has so much charm, with little pockets of happy sprinkled throughout that made us smile at every turn. You can tell a lot of care and love went into creating this space. It’s the perfect downtown Waco getaway - we can’t wait to come back!

I don't know where to start, but Dana's place had me speechless upon entry in the best way. I had to message her right away to tell her how absolutely blown away I was at her cottage! From the moment you walk in, the fireplace (electric) lit with music on, wine gift and handwritten more, and custom noteboard in the hall. I am not exaggerating when I say she had me feeling emotional. It was the most welcome I have ever felt anywhere, truly set the tone for a wonderful stay! From all the little custom notes around the house, to the Poppy quotes and poems, this home is an EXPERIENCE ❤️. The beds, luxurious, the decor, top notch, there's even a did you forget something drawer in the restroom, Dana truly truly has thought of absolutely everything even down to the last detail. I'm generally a one and some type of airbnber, but I am dying to go back to this home. it was truly magical, inside and out. The hot tub is a Fabolous plus, so why are you still reading this, hurry up and book!

Dana has fixed this little house up so cute and comfortable. Everything we needed was there even without asking. The little back yard was perfect for morning reading. There was a local squirrel that came and greeted me the first morning. I would highly recommend this little house if you need a get away in Waco. It was centrally located to downtown and the campus areas.

I am an avid traveler and stay all over the world. This property was so beautifully maintained and had wonderful extra amenities that were so nicely available. I will stay here every time when Waco is on my business trip path. You will not be sorry!

We're an active AirBnB family, and Dana's place has to be in our top 3 stays ever. The home was furnished in such a lovely way, including lots of clear signs, instructions, and heartwarming touches. She had stocked it full of amenities (like snacks, and bug spray, and slippers) that you rarely see in a rental home. We walked into lovely music playing, a virtual fire in the fireplace, and a beautifully set table. Her friendliness and helpfulness could be felt throughout the property. It was just SO WELL DONE. Plus, the location cannot be beat. We walked to Magnolia, to dinner, and more. Lastly, when it came to check out, there was no big chore list, just an easy exit. Dana simply "gets it", and knows exactly how to create a standout experience. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

One of my favorite AirBNBs ever! Really well laid out space that accommodates a lot of people for the space. The outdoor areas were so fun- backyard fire pit where you can listen to the live music down the street! Front porch we enjoyed several times during the stay! The beds were very comfortable. Tons of personal details and thoughtful touches. There are so many places in Waco, but honestly I will just stay here again next time I come.
